Delia Gutierrez McLaughlin founded AzTech Innovation to give organizations what she spent her career providing inside the Fortune 500: a technology leader who carries the core of a CIO’s portfolio. That means IT spend, vendor strategy, governance, delivery and organizational change, held to one measurable outcome.
She partnered with Aon’s CIO to take global IT spend from $800M to $525M. She rescued a global airline’s $65M contact center transformation program by rebuilding its vendor contracts and governance, and led foundational workstreams of a national health system’s $450M IT transformation. At AWS Professional Services, she served as executive owner on AI and digital transformation programs for Fortune 500 clients across aviation, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing.
Delia is known as a business translator who keeps executives and delivery teams pointed at the same result. Her approach is captured in three words: Envision. Evolution. Elevation. In the AI era, she believes absorption, not adoption, is what turns technology into value.
Beyond the boardroom
A first-generation college graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Delia has often been the only woman, and the only Latina, at the table. She has made it her work to bring others with her. She chairs the Advisory Council of HACE (Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement), leads the Mentor Committee of the HITEC Foundation, and served on the Strategic Committee of We Are All Human (Hispanic Star) from 2019 to 2024. She mentors executives as well as high school and college students, and is a co-author of The Latino Leadership Playbook (Fig Factor Media, 2023), chapter “How to Work Smart.”
